Deconstruction and some hopeful interior views

Jim and Tony are at it again on top of the 3 little addition porches on the north side of the building.  As you may recall from earlier posts, the building and the additions that evolved from 1924 and onward were created with only rubble foundations. So off they come and the new kitchen and bathrooms will be built on the new foundation that was completed before the deep freeze.
Jim Kurz and Tony (aka Herr Toad)

You have now entered the hall from the south entrance to the building.  You are in a hallway that allows you to enter the museum, take the stairs to the upstairs apartment, or to go through the beautiful (repositioned) front door into the office.

You have chosen to enter the office and can see the door from the other side.

But your tour isn't over, you passed through the French doors that are between the office and the museum space--
And this is your final view, the soon to be demolished north side additions.

One final note--with the warm sun streaming in our greenhouse, a little wood frog made his appearance.  Spring will come!

  1. Thanks for the update. Great to see the progress! Can't wait to see it in person!
Good for you both, Eileen & Tony.
    All the best,
