More de-struction on the north end

Since the last blog, the north side additions are being removed with lumber to be recycled for the con-struction of the north side. This view is from the west with the setting sun illuminating all the destruction that one can now see with the snow melt this past week.

But snow is in the forecast for the Birkenbiner ski race this coming weekend and with that incentive, Herr Toad is moving the lumber he is recycling to the inside of the building.  The big square blocks that you see in the foreground?--those are the two stories worth of chimney blocks lovingly removed, block by block, during the previous big snow.
