Rocking the Porch and Painting the Rocks

.....It was a cold and stormy night,
This could have been the opening statement for the outstanding concert on the porch at Toad House. The weather looked ominous at 3:00 pm but cleared as Clyde, Regla, and Alan set up their instruments and amplifiers. The Hollywood Rockstarz put on a truly great concert for us. We hope you enjoyed the evening, cold as it did become!!

....Continuing with the rocky July weather,
Julie Brockbank, with the help of her granddaughter Sarah, provided a fun, creative morning for about 25 children at Toad House. Julie is a creative spirit, finding many different materials, such as fungi, rocks, and antler sheds to use as her canvas. She introduced children to painting with acrylic paints upon rocks.

It was a lovely morning!  We hope that children in the community will be able to join us as the spirit moves them. Parents are able to participate with children, or allow older children to work on their own.
To sustain the Toadally Artsy Kids Events, we ask that parents donate $5.00 per child. This donation provides for a small thank-you stipend for the work of the guest teachers and allows for the funding of the materials.  We hope you will stop in on a Saturday and join in the fun and creativity that this outstanding activity affords.
