Footings, footings, and more footings

This morning the south-west footings, those for the front office and studio were poured. In the afternoon Toad began the arduous task of removing the  rubble from under the original building on the south side and replacing it with block. Some of the rocks used in the original foundation are too large to lift.

The little woods is blanketed with oak and maple leaves. Peeking out from the leaves are some little hemlocks transplanted from Phyllis Stevenson's land and the pines, spruce, and cedar from our land.

  1. We want more pictures! (That's what Conrad said. He is an internet browsing backseat driver.)
