Artsy isn't just about Kids

On Friday, January 24th, we learned a variety of watercolor techniques from watercolor artist, Andrea Korpinen. The class, held from 6 - 9 pm gave participants the opportunity to learn a new skill or refine their own artistry.

After an introduction to the class, we were served a lovely light Russian Borsch, sourdough bread, and a dessert from our own Toad House baker, Julia Galina. The soup was prepared especially for the day, from scratch, from fresh ingredients.

Returning to work, the ladies worked on their projects, the finished pieces could be used as very special cards, complete with envelopes to mail--Perhaps for a special Valentine?
