Here we go again!

We had another wonderful week-end! Thanks everyone for supporting the arts thru your patronage of the bakery and coffee shop! Our great conundrum is learning when to be open to maximize our efforts.

Sunday appears to be a slower bakery day and earlier than we expected. We are shifting the hours to begin at 9 each day and on Sunday we will close at 11 unless there are special events or we happen to be hanging out with other toads!

Here are a few notes from the comments we collected. The German torte has been rated extremely high by those who tried it. The sourdough has sold out each day and we have come close to selling out on the cinnamon rolls.  Baker Tony has a new shaping method for the Kolacky (the Czech or Polish filled pastry)  He is sealing the yummy plum, apricot, and poppy seed inside the dough. Next weekend he plans to fill some with a bakers cheese filling. The toad, chocolate ganache cupcakes are a big hit with young and old. There is a lady in her 90's whose son brings her one everyday we are open.

We have learned that toads do fly--at least the toad cookies that fly off the tray.

And the coffees--Mme. Toad is thrilled that the coffee aficionados love our lattes!  You now can ask for one with real vanilla, and real chocolate to stir in for a vanilla or mocha latte, (no artificial syrups for the toads and toad friends)

Stay tuned as we fine tune our work and please come often and support our local, very talented artists!
